Last week, the violin teacher came into our classroom. Her name is Julia. She taught us the parts of the violin and showed us a video on how the violin is made. After, she brought us to Halla Veronica and showed us the violins. She showed us how to hold the violin and bow and the string notes of the violin too. At the end, we bowed to finish the lesson. It’s very exciting to be learning how to play the violin!!!

We have been interpreting data and collecting, recording and communicating data in Ms. Donohoe’s room.

A national census provides facts and figures that are needed by the government to study the social and economic conditions of a country. The next census of Ireland will be recorded this weekend. Information collected about every person in the country this Sunday night is used by the government to plan for the future. This is a great opportunity for us to see data recorded, collected, interpreted and communicated in a real life situation. After learning about the census process, we conducted a class census.
