We are celebrating Seachtain na Gaeilge in our school this week. Junior and Senior Infants had a wonderful morning in the hall for the Feis. All the children sang or said a poem. They were all brilliant.Some children were so lucky to get certs, cups and win medals. Thanks to our judges, Ms. Murphy and Ms. Flannery. A very tough job!!
We had our Annual Book Fair last week. We got a chance to view all the lovely books on Wednesday and then on the last day we bought some really nice books. We all really enjoyed it.
There was great excitemnet in Ms. O’Loughlin’s senior infants today! Santa came all the way to see us. We couldn’t believe our luck! Everyone is on the good list so far. We sang Jingle Bells and he even joined in.
Senior Infants will be performing their Christmas play on Monday, 17th December at 12.45 in the hall. Parents, family and friends are very welcome to come. We are very busy practicing at the moment and are also very excited!We hope to see you there.
We had a great time playing maths games with some parents. We are getting much better at counting and taking turns. On Monday next, we will have our last day, so we will look forward to parents coming.
The children in Ms Murphy’s class had a great time today when 7 parents came to play maths games with them.It was a great fun. Thank you to the parents who took the time to come along and play the games.We hope that you enjoyed it as much as we did.

We had our 2nd day of Maths for Fun with parents. We were delighted to see some parents back from last week and some new parents too. We all played so well in our groups and are getting very good at organising the game,taking turns and congratulating the winner.

Ms. O’Loughlin’s class were busy playing maths games today.A big ‘thank you’ to the mums and dads that volunteered to come and join us. We all had a great time. We will be playing maths games for the next 3 Mondays,so if any more parents are free, we would love you to come along!Everyone was very good are taking turns and working together.
